Free trade zones
There are 13 SEZs established in Kazakhstan. Residents are granted the following benefits: exemption from corporate income tax, land and property tax, and customs duties on imports. Land is provided free of charge for the duration of the SEZ. A simplified procedure for hiring labour is in place.
